In reference to my last post (What About The Secret?), a reader wrote:
"Hi Tony,
In your last post, you wrote that the movie The Secret did a pretty good job of (among two other things):
'Exposing millions of people, the vast majority of them for the first time, to the power of thought and the idea of what some refer to as the law of attraction (I prefer to look at it as directivity rather than attraction).'
Can you either explain to me why you look at what some refer to as the law of attraction as directivity rather than attraction or give me a reference or references to a thing or things I can read so I can better understand your thinking there?
Thanks!"
I'll tell you what, rather than give you a long, drawn-out explanation, I'll give you references to a couple of things you can read to better understand my thinking there (besides, you'll get a heck of a lot more from reading and pondering these things for yourself... a whole heck of a lot more!).

Tip: Pay particular, but not exclusive, attention to the first of the three articles in Mr. Wattles' God: The Servant of Man series titled '"I and the Father'" and the fifth and sixth of the seven articles in Mr. Wattles' What Is Truth? series titled "Motion" and "The Beginning of Motion" respectively.
Note: It might interest you to know that, to the best of my knowledge, though much has been attributed to him on the subject, Mr. Wattles never used the term "law of attraction" in his writings. Take from that what you will.
