The Law of Success by Wallace D. Wattles, who’s best known for his classic masterpiece The Science of Getting Rich, is a short story that was first published in 1908 in The Scrap Book, a monthly magazine published by Munsey’s in the early twentieth century.
It tells the story, as only Mr. Wattles could tell it, of how Annie Kelley, a young, successful stage actress, taught Paul Vander Heide, a struggling, unsuccessful storywriter, the law of success.
